“Discount of the day” Groupon files $750 million IPO

Groupon, an US based e-commerce marketplace, that connects merchants and consumers by offering goods and services at a discount, announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of America for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its Class A common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.
