No one disagrees now that cloud computing is the future, and neither is there any debate about how this bodes well for Cisco cloud computing. Plus, the company can now tap into the massive computing power of a data center – something that was previously impossible for all but a handful of corporate behemoths.

Without geeking out, let’s just say that Cisco can build enterprise clouds fast and cheap (relatively speaking). A company looking for a data center where the resources can be virtualized and shared among multiple clients should head straight for Cisco.

This is not so hard to understand, but it may be a bit confusing for some. So let’s try to make the whole cloud thing as easy as possible – There’s a public cloud out there, and companies can use its resources on demand, much like power consumption off an electrical grid network. A company can also opt to use or build a private cloud that can be shared among multiple customers, which is where Cisco comes in.
